Academy 2: Thinktank - Birmingham Science Museum

Location and directions

The academy will be held at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum, Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham, B4 7XG. The nearest railway stations are Moor Street Station which is a 10 minute walk away or New Street Station which is approximately 15 minutes walk. Further directions and information can be found on the Thinktank website.

Lunches and dinner on Monday; breakfast at the hotel on Tuesday, and tea, coffee and yummy biscuits are all provided.

On Monday between 6:00pm and 7:30pm we will have Thinktank to ourselves to explore and have fun on the exhibits. Alternatively you can use this time to take a break and book into the hotel.

Parking

The hotel near Thinktank Please use the Millennium Point car park. Please let us know in advance if you are planning to do this so that we can arrange sufficient passes. On arrival please take a yellow token at the automatic barrier; we will then issue you with a pass that allows you to exit free of charge.

Accommodation

For those of you traveling from outside the Birmingham area accommodation is provided at the Conference Aston Hotel based on the campus of Aston University, just 5 minutes walk from Millennium Point.
